In 1998 Ferretti bought out all the Custom Line shares,
taking absolute control of this company which was set up in 1996, specialising
in the construction of maxi yachts made of composite material. Ferretti
Custom Line immediately won over a new chunk of the market with a high
quality product, which does not represent a compromise between various
requirements, but, rather, forms part of the world of yachts in its
own right and with its own precise identity: mega yachts with clean
lines, meticulously designed down to the very last detail. Having inherited
from Ferretti the traditional know how of a highly advanced manufacturing
method, in terms of technology, design and performance, Ferretti Custom
line has adapted this to suit the specific requirements of custom production.
The results were prestigious and elegant yachts, which immediately found
favour, even with the most demanding customers. |
